Welcome to 2023 !

This is our 48th year of operating an eisteddfod on the NSW Central Coast and we have made the very difficult decision to NOT operate an eisteddfod this year.

This is due to the lack of volunteers that help in two important ways:

  • attending the meetings so we can make decisions about how the eisteddfod operates
  • operate the actual eisteddfod days at different venues across the Central Coast.

Obviousl y we do not want the eisteddfod to close, but we do need enough volunteers to be able to run the event properly.

We need your help

To help the Eisteddfod be successful you can :

  • become a member
  • find a sponsor
  • enter in the competition
  • volunteer to help when the event is running, or
  • just spread the word.

To help in any way, use the Contact Us page to get in touch.

The Central Coast Eisteddfod began in 1975 as a result of three arts loving locals, Don and Lil Turner and Bill Wallace approaching the Gosford Lions Club. The Lions Club kindly gave their support and The Central Coast Eisteddfod began.

Don and Lil have since passed away.
